News : UniKL forming Strategic Alliance with Thailand Universities

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), a pioneer technical university in Malaysia, has marked another milestone in its history as it embarked into forming strategic alliances with several renowned Thailand Universities today. This is made possible through signing and exchange of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 4 universities namely : 
Ramkhamhaeng University
Chulalongkorn University
King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi 
Thammasat University
The alliance signifies serious effort by UniKL and its Thailand counterparts in promoting the development of mutually beneficial co-operation in several academic activities that will certainly
benefit both Malaysia and Thailand.

The MoU will be inked between UniKL President / Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Dato' Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su'ud, Dean of Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, Professor Supot Hannongbua,  President of Ramkhamhaeng University, Asst. Prof. Wutisak Lapcharoensap and Director of the Institute of International Studies, Mr. Satin Soonthornpan. 

Acting President of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakarindr Bhumiratana together with Acting Vice President for Education & Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bundit Thipakorn has earlier signed the agreement and the representative will be exchanging the MOU document with Dato' Mazliham followed by an exchange of document with Thammasat University, by the representative of the Vice Rector for International Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Nitinant Wisaweisuan.  

Chiang Mai University and Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin are already in discussions with UniKL for potential collaboration and signing of the collaboration document is expected to follow suit soon. H.E Dato' Nazirah Hussain, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Malaysia to Thailand and Assoc. Prof. Kamjorn Tatiyakavee, MD the Secretary-General Office of the Higher Education Commission, Thailand will be witnessing the ceremony.
